Pharmaceutical Formulation: Bacterin Suspension
It is used for serological diagnosis of antibodies formed in brucella infections caused by smooth brucella bacteria in humans and animals.
FOR INVITRO USE
It is a dead B. abortus S 99 bacteria suspension at the rate of 8% as colored with 1% of Rose-Bengal in buffer diluent prepared with distilled water, sodium hydroxide, lactic acid, phenol and sodium chloride.
It is used for serological diagnosis of antibodies formed in brucella infections caused by smooth brucella bacteria in humans and animals.
Required Materials:
Calibrated antigen dropper (Supplied with antigen)
Plastic, porcelain or glass plate (Suppled with antigen)
Stick to mix
Application of Test
Antigen and test serums are kept at room temperature for 15 minutes to reach room temperature. The antigen is mixed thoroughly without foaming and a single drop of antigen (40 µl) is dropped into the well on the plate. The same amount of serum (test or control) is dropped in the same well next to the antigen. Antigen and serum is mixed with stick. The plate is moved back and forth and ensure they mix well. The reaction is evaluated within 4 minutes

Shelf life is 1 years
In 5 ml or 10 ml volumes of glass or plastic vials, it is packed in a cardboard box with 40 µl dropper and test plate.
